When lies are exchanged it can change its arrangement. It’s tested on a daily basis its love knows patience, it responds to how you cater to it. Trust is the essence of a solid foundation. This is not a temporary engagement. This is a commitment.

We might walk on a torn down narrow road filled with muddy potholes where dark clouds cover our dreams whole to make our end goals seem out of reach know I fear not the challenges that we face to date but your grip slowly slipping away with all the pain that we endure apart from the rain. Weather the storm so long as you’re willing and able for every cloud in the sky will soon be gone post a silver line, in dark times there waits our finish line all I ask is please open your eyes even if you peek at the puddle of water that's fine, it’s just a matter of time before the sun's light reaches your eyes sunshine, I know you can't see what's up when you look down at times especially when all you see is clouds hovering over the sky I too wish our challenges were good at goodbyes but it’s hard to ignore what’s right by my side.

What will it be when we’re on the brink of defeat, will you hold your breath or will you breathe with ease, will you practice doubt or belief, what will it be I wonder what will it be because I want you on my team.

The unsaid is known, her heart feels right at home but she’s mad at herself because she lost control, so she looks for faults in him that will help her move on. Experience has taught her that, “when something is too good to be true, it probably is”. He often wishes that was true, just so he can excuse his feelings too, but there was none whatsoever. He genuinely likes what he sees in her. He remained quiet about it, he also tried to ignore what’s going on. With time it didn’t get any easier. Their feelings wouldn’t fade the more they wished them away, not bearing in mind that every time one does so it scars the heart, a bittersweet reminder that in silence they’re losing out on something more. He moves closer, looks into her eyes and replies – I can’t keep pretending nothing’s going on. I can’t carry on as if this feels wrong. Sitting side by side yearning to feel his touch, his hands take hold of hers. She panics in disguise, fearful of revealing the scars she protects with her life. Having felt this way before she knows what follows. He says – Don’t allow fear to predict our tomorrow. If you strongly feel the way I feel and are still confused, then I cannot tell you what to do, but if you’re willing to try again, I am willing to love you past your pain. I get the sense that you’ve done this before. Availed yourself to the position you’re in and it hurt whenever you did, yet again you try like the many times before, but it all feels the same as it does with tears in the rain. Your loving arms now guard what remains of your heart. She looks away and says - love does this. He replies - love is soft, love is understanding, love is kind. Love doesn’t make you feel like this, however the pain that goes hand in hand with it through experience has got you feeling like this. The truth is love will do you no wrong. When you’re open to loving once more love like you’ve never been hurt before. Here’s a reason to believe the pulse that pumps the beat inside of me. I stand firm on my two feet with the feeling I’ve come to meet which is the same feeling my heart believes in despite me bleeding I invite it in with open arms and embrace it with both hands, because to love makes me who I am.
